We believe it is essential to equip young women with the skills they need to become economically independent. At Women Aspire Network, we provide training programs that empower young women to create sustainable livelihoods. This is especially important because, too often, young women are vulnerable to exploitation and coerced into unhealthy or illicit relationships due to their inability to meet their basic needs. We believe that advocacy and skills building go hand in hand. When young women are financially independent, they gain the confidence and freedom to engage in advocacy, challenge harmful norms, and drive positive change in their communities. An empowered woman is not only self-reliant but also a powerful agent of transformation.
